About
A British junior kart racer who keeps coming through the field.

+65
Places gained at major events in 2025. It's the number that says the most about how he races.
The story so far
Lucien has been karting for six years, and it began at the Hunts Kart Club at Kimbolton. It is still one of his favourite tracks in the UK. He raced MicroMax with KR-Sport's junior team, won his first British Kart Championships round there in August 2024, and went to the Rotax Grand Finals in Italy that autumn with Team UK.
2025 was his busiest year so far: 59 race starts at major events, in eight countries. He won the RMC Euro Trophy round at Genk, which earned another Team UK place, then led the Grand Final in Bahrain before contact ended his race at the front.
2026 is his first year in Juniors, and it has been a big one. Rotax Junior with KR-Sport, OK-N and X30 with Fusion Motorsport, and OK Junior with DPK Racing and Fusion. He finished P2 in the Champions of the Future Academy, and took a podium at Wackersdorf from P30 in qualifying.
Two times Team UK. He has represented his country at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in Sarno and in Bahrain.

Lap by lap
Kimbolton
Six years of karting, and it began at the Hunts Kart Club in Cambridgeshire. He still calls it one of his favourite tracks in the UK.
First British win
His first British Kart Championships win, MicroMax at Kimbolton. P2 on the grid, down to fifth, back through, and P1 starting the last lap.
Team UK
Carries the flag at the RMC Grand Finals in Sarno, Italy. A wet qualifying leaves him P24. He starts the Final P15 and gets into the top 10 by lap two.
Genk winner
Wins the RMC Euro Trophy round at Genk. P4 after turn one, P1 by lap six, 0.6 seconds clear at the flag. That wins him a ticket to Bahrain.
Lap record
Sets a new lap record at PFI in a Mini, then takes P2 and the fastest lap at the Golden Trophy in Genk.
Team UK again
Grand Finals in Bahrain. P4 of 72 in qualifying and P2 after the heats. He leads the Final until contact from behind ends it at the front.
Junior
Moves up to Juniors. Bigger chassis, more power, and his first race is at Whilton Mill in the cold and wet of January.
P30 to P3
Qualifies P30 at Wackersdorf and finishes on the podium, the highest placed UK driver, with 34 overtakes across the weekend.
OK-N winner
Pole, then P1 in the Final at Larkhall, won by 0.07 seconds. Double podium for the weekend.
Pole, then P2
Pole at Whilton Mill in the British Kart Championships with a 45.733, and P2 overall in the Champions of the Future Academy.
This week
The FIA Karting World Championship at La Conca, in kart 290 with Fusion Motorsport.
Away from the kart

Running and fitness away from the kart, because racing at this level is very physical.

Every event gets broken down: position, places gained, and how the laps compare.

A day with a car racing team to see what the jump from karts really takes.
