Leading the Grand Final in Bahrain

Every driver at the Grand Finals gets an equal kart, drawn by raffle. Lucien qualified P2 in his group and P4 of 72 in class.

He chose not to take risks in the heats, finishing P1, P3 and P3. That made him P2 overall. In the Pre-final he started P2 and stayed there, deciding not to attack the leader and let the pack behind catch up.

He took the lead midway through the Final. He was then hit from behind by a driver who went over the back of his kart, and squeezed off the track on the next lap. That ended his race at the front.

He was proud of how he drove all week, and of driving cleanly.
