The Win That Sent Him to Bahrain

Genk came straight after a BNL weekend there that had already put him on the podium, on his first ever visit to the track.

He won the Pre-final and lined up P2 for the Final. On the outside into turn one he dropped to P4. He was back in the lead by lap six and held a 0.6 second gap to the flag at the end of lap ten.

The win earned him a Rotax Grand Finals ticket, and a place with Team UK in Bahrain.
