Into the Top 10 at the IAME Warrior Final

Practice opened with P1 and P4 in the official sessions. Qualifying was P10 in group, held up by a spinning kart on the best lap.

Heat 1 dropped him to P15 off the line, avoiding spinning karts into the first corners. He recovered to P9. Heat 2 was P5 in clean air. Heat 4 went from P10 to P8. A kart rolled backwards into his path at the start of Heat 5, which bent the rear axle and ended that race.

That moved him from 23rd to 43rd of 102, with only the top 36 going through to the Main Final. He started the Super Heat P22 and by lap three he had the fastest lap and was on his way to P10.

Contact from behind then put him into the back of another kart and down to P17. With a bent steering column he still got back to P13 at the flag, enough to reach the Final on the road. A five second post race penalty took that away.
