First on the Road by 3.9 Seconds at Silverstone

Round one of a new championship at a track he had already helped evaluate. He qualified P9 on Saturday and came through to P2 and P3 in the heats.

A five second formation lap penalty hung over the Final. He pushed to offset it, won on the road by 3.9 seconds, and was classified P3.

Sunday started with P4 in qualifying, just 0.07 off P1. The set up was not right in the wet Final and he held on for P5, which still left him P2 in the championship.
